PACKAGE UNIT SERVICES IN KANSAS CITY, MO

A package unit puts the compressor, coil, blower and heating section in a single outdoor cabinet, mounted either on a rooftop curb or on a pad along the side of the building. They are common on Kansas City ranch homes with crawl spaces, on manufactured housing, and on small commercial buildings where there is no room for a separate indoor air handler.

Because everything lives outdoors, package units take the full brunt of Kansas City weather — summer sun on the cabinet, winter ice on the coil, and a decade of rain on electrical components a split system keeps indoors. All 4 One repairs, maintains and replaces these systems, with particular attention to cabinet seals, duct connections at the curb, and the drainage that keeps water out of the electrical section.

Our service covers both halves of the unit: refrigerant charge and coil condition on the cooling side, burners, ignition, heat exchanger and safety controls on the heating side. A single annual visit keeps both tuned, which matters more on a package unit than on a split system because one cabinet failure takes out heating and cooling at once.

We install Goodman package units and service every other major brand. If a rooftop unit is reaching the end of its life, we assess crane access, curb condition and duct transitions as part of the replacement estimate so there are no surprises on installation day. Call (816) 699-8366 to schedule.
